ArcGIS Blog : ArcGIS API for JavaScript 2.6 Now Available
The JavaScript API is a browser based API for developing high performance, easy to use mapping applications. This release has several enhancements including:

• Improved map display using HTML5 and CSS3
• Support for the latest version of web maps from ArcGIS Online
• Basemap Gallery widget enhancements
• Support for new features in ArcGIS for Server 10.1
